The Human Touch: Why we relate with podcasts

The audience for podcasts is growing exponentially and the data is clear that more and more people are connecting with this form of media. Why?

Roze Young, host/creator of the DON’T RECYCLE PROJECT

Perhaps it is the simple human element. Podcasts allow for profound, in-depth, and vulnerable conversations, that allow for more truth and more humanity than many other forms of media. While other content seems to be on a trend to be less authentic, especially as AI is continuing to spread, podcasts allow for grounded, genuine, and human material.

They allow us to express ourselves in a personal and intimate way and audiences need and want this more than ever.

Ivana de Maria, host/creator of HIDDEN BROCCOLI

Podcasts allow us to spread knowledge, intellect, and wisdom. They can allow participants to sincerely explore a topic, sharing their experience in the most primitive form of media humanity has known — word of mouth.

Different than a talk show, radio show, or newspaper interview, the podcast seems to rely on conversation that isn’t manufactured, planned, or constructed.

At Podhead Studios we are proud to produce and support content that reveals knowledge, humanity, delight, inspiration, sorrows, and anything that can bring understanding, solace, or joy to an audience.
