Creator Package FAQs
-
Creator packages are monthly retainers plans with a creative team that produces, shoots, edits, and releases your video podcast on a regular basis. Our experience in television has informed us to create a robust and efficient workflow ensuring high quality content on a set schedule. Depending on the plan, we offer a comprehensive creative team that can consist of a dedicated cinematographer, audio engineer, creative producer, distribution producer, and social media manager. This team can produce your show every week and handle all the distribution and uploading for the top video and audio podcast platforms as well as social media content.
-
Once you've selected your package, you'll get access to our online booking system where you can schedule your sessions up to 3 months in advance.
-
We offer flexible plan options! Creator packages are billed and produced on a monthly basis.
Our Basic Plan has no commitments and can be cancelled anytime.
The Advanced, Pro, and Premium plans require a minimum notice of 30 days to cancel and are billed for your first month and a deposit of the same amount at the start of a new project. This is due to the fact that these shows require a longer build process and commitment to our creative team and crew members.
Individual studio sessions or production commitments must be rescheduled or canceled within a 24hr window in order to be re-used within the same month.

Basic Studio Session FAQs
-
At Podhead Studios, a Basic Studio Session is anything that is a podcast-style shoot. This refers to filmed long form sit-down style conversation taking place at our studio in DTLA.
This can also include interviews for documentary-style content or single person “talking head” style content. We typically film these from three different camera angles.
The video footage will be live-edited on set with our studio switcher. We’ll deliver all live edits, and isolated video files. Audio will also be recorded separately and should be synced in post-production for highest quality.
The production scope is limited to one single look with a single-set of camera placements on tripods to be established at the start of the booked period of filming.
If your project requires more than one camera set-up or look, this falls outside the scope of the basic session.
If filming in a space outside of the white cyc, such as the makeup room, or conference room, or there are more than one camera setups required per camera, then the scope of the shoot falls outside of a Podcast-Style Shoot.
Music videos, musical guests, narrative scenes, or anything involving more elaborate production requiring a larger crew will fall out of this scope — however we’re here to chat to discuss creative solutions! -
Simply use our online booking system to select your date and time to book, reserve, and submit payment for your session. Feel free to contact us should you need assistance finding a time or booking.
-
Live Editing is included, but not a final edit.
What’s the difference? A live-edit is done as we film the podcast — we cut between the different camera angles based on the pacing and content of your conversation.A Final Edit is where we go through a process of drafts and revisions to assemble, trim, and finesse your episode to custom specifications. We also add music, titles, and final sound mix and pro color correction, ensuring highest quality files for final uploading.
After your session, you will receive the live-edited video footage, all isolated camera and audio files, as well as the DaVinci Resolve project file which you can use to modify any further edits with your own team or ours.
Contact us should you wish to engage our in-house editor to edit your final video. Full episodes are priced at $500 and custom social clips at $150 per video.
We do not use A.I. to edit and you are welcome to communicate and collaborate with our in-house editor.
